LMS Ensemble Auditions

Weekly Rehearsals – Online (Tuesday, January 18 through Sunday, January 30)

 -ALL LMS ensembles will begin the semester with a 2-week online session

 -After this delay, face to face rehearsals may begin on Monday, January 31st

 -The Monday, January 31st start date depends on the COVID-19 situation at that time

 

 Weekly Rehearsals – Face to Face (starting Monday, January 31st)

 - Masks are required for everyone in the rehearsal - woodwind and brass players will move to mask down while playing, then replace when not playing

 - We will use the HEPA-filtration units during breaks/transitions

 - All LMS ensembles will follow health protocols established by TXST (testing, quarantine, etc…)

 - Mask wearing, bell covers, social distancing, and sanitizing will be required and enforced.

 - Provisions will be made for those who must be absent due to positive test results

 - It is important to get tested before arriving on campus, and to regularly test during this omicron wave regardless if you do not feel any symptoms. 

 - If you do feel symptoms, do not come to rehearsal. Get tested through the university (for free!) as soon as possible.https://book.curative.com/sites/9019 The Curative outdoor testing site is next to Evans and close to the music building.

 If TXST goes fully online, weekly rehearsals will be delivered through Zoom.
