Spring 2025 Audition Requirements
Salsa
All auditions will be held in room 216.
Experience is NOT required to audition or perform in the salsa ensembles.

- Wednesday, December 4th 3:00 - 4:00 pm
- Thursday, December 5th 3:30 - 4:50 pm
- Friday, December 6th 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Vocalists: Prepare two songs in contrasting styles from the following genres: Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha. You will be able to connect via bluetooth to sing along with a track, or you can send the file you would like to use.
Instrumentalists: You will play “Quitemonos La Ropa” by NG2.
- Saxophones - please add three sharps to the trombone chart and read as if it is in treble clef.
- Percussion - Please prepare to perform on one of the following instruments: Congas, Timbales, Bongos
- Any questions about what part to play, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask before the audition.
