Estaville Morales Endowment

Founder and donor, Dr. Lawrence Estaville is a long-time friend and supporter of the TXST Latin Music Ensembles. Dr. Estaville established this endowment in 2018 in order to serve the needs of the students in the Texas State Latin Music Studies area.

This endowment will present a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student each fall semester.

Eligibility
Eligibility for this endowment is as follows:
Must be in a Latin Music Ensemble for the entire school year
Must be a full time student
Must be a music major
Must have 60+ hours
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Application Process
Each fall, a list of eligible students will be provided by the school of music.
These students will then be invited to apply for the scholarship.
Applicants must submit an application and all necessary documents by the designated deadlines.

Selection & Presentation
The Latin Music Studies faculty will review all applications and select one recipient each fall.
Recipients will be asked to attend the Merry-Achi Christmas concert to receive the scholarship and meet the donor.
