Mariachi Vocal Studio

A unique opportunity at Texas State University allows a student with significant background in mariachi to pursue our standard Choral Music Education option and receive applied voice instruction in mariachi.

Students will study both mariachi and classical repertoire with renowned mariachi vocalist Michelle Quintero and perform a senior recital that reflects both genres.
